Note: Legacy.mp is an online community, not a business. We rely on EU (incl. GDPR) and applicable US protections for user-generated content.

1. Account & Access

1.1. One real person → one forum account.
1.2. Registration/login goes through Discord auth only. We don’t store passwords.
1.3. Your Discord must be in good standing to use the forum. Bans on Discord/in-game can mirror to the forum.
1.4. Do not impersonate staff, factions, or other players.

2. Behavior

2.1. Be civil. No hate speech, slurs, harassment, doxxing, threats.
2.2. No brigading or starting OOC witch hunts over IC conflicts.
2.3. English is the default language unless the section says otherwise.
2.4. Respect staff decisions; appeal politely if you disagree.

3. Content

3.1. Keep posts relevant to the section (support, IC media, factions, guides, etc.).
3.2. No NSFW, sexualized minors, gore, or shock content.
3.3. No real-life politics/religion flamebait.
3.4. No illegal file sharing, cracks, malware, cheat tools, or instructions.
3.5. Don’t post other people’s private data (screenshots, DMs, IDs) without consent unless it’s part of an official report.

4. IC vs OOC

4.1. Don’t metagame via the forum. If it’s OOC, keep it OOC.
4.2. IC sections follow server lore (Legacy.mp world, not LC/real conflicts).
4.3. Leaking Discord/OOC chats to win IC arguments is not allowed.

5. Advertising & Trading

5.1. No RMT (real-money trading) or OOC asset transfers.
5.2. No selling accounts/chars/properties for real money.
5.3. Community/guild/server ads only where the staff explicitly allows it.
5.4. Scam reports must go via the proper section; fake/scam posts will be removed.

6. Staff, Reports & Evidence

6.1. Follow the forum report template. Redacted evidence is allowed; staff may ask for full.
6.2. Public “staff calling out” threads are removed; use tickets/reports.
6.3. We may archive/store report-related data, logs, and messages longer if a user was breaking rules or if we need it for community safety.

7. Copyright & Attribution

7.1. Post only what you own or can share.
7.2. On takedown/DMCA-style requests we follow EU & US standards.
7.3. We may hide or edit posts to remove infringing content.

8. Moderation

8.1. We can edit/move/hide/delete content that breaks rules or derails topics.
8.2. We can issue: warning → temp mute → temp ban → community ban.
8.3. Egregious stuff (doxxing, hate, cheats, sexual content involving minors) can be immediate ban.

9. Data & Privacy (Forum)

9.1. We use Discord OAuth; no local passwords.
9.2. We use essential cookies; non-essential/third-party are disclosed in Third Party Cookie Details.
9.3. You can ask for account closure via [email protected] -- we may retain rule-violation material to protect the community.

10. Final Clause

10.1. Staff word is final on interpretation.
10.2. Rules can change; continued use = acceptance.
10.3. If something isn’t covered, staff will apply common sense + existing site guidelines.
