Legacy.mp Site Guidelines

1. Respect & Conduct

Be civil; attack ideas, not people.
No harassment, slurs, hate, threats, or doxxing.
No sexual content involving minors; keep NSFW out of public areas.
English is the default unless a section says otherwise.

2. Accounts & Profiles

18+ only. One person = one account (alts need staff approval).
Discord login only. We do not store Legacy.mp passwords. Enable Discord 2FA.
No impersonation. Avatars/usernames must be appropriate (no hate/shock).

3. Posting Rules

Search first; post in the correct section with required prefixes.
Clear, descriptive titles; no clickbait.
Use spoilers/content warnings for sensitive topics and large images.
Share only content you own or are authorized to use; credit sources.

4. RP-Specific (Forum Context)

No metagaming (don’t use OOC/forum info for IC advantage).
No powergaming (don’t force outcomes/ignore consequences).
Mark threads IC or OOC clearly; no ERP/fetish content.

5. Media & Links

Redact/blur private info unless consented or already public.
No malicious/NSFW links; avoid link shorteners that hide destinations.
Disclose AI-generated content when relevant; no deepfake/impersonation.

6. Marketplace

Only in designated sections. In-game items/services for in-game currency only.
No RMT; no account/character sales.
State clear terms; provide proof on completion; report scams.

7. Cheating & Security

Zero tolerance for cheats, exploits, or distributing tools to abuse the game.
Don’t publish vulnerabilities; report security issues privately to staff.

8. Staff, Reports & Appeals

Follow moderator instructions.
Use Report for issues; keep evidence concise and relevant.
Public call-outs belong in Reports, not general threads.
Appeals must use the template; abusive/spam appeals may be denied.

9. Sanctions (Guide)

Reminder → Edit/Remove → Warning → Temp mute/ban → Long ban → Permanent ban
Severe violations (e.g., hate speech, doxxing, cheats, sexual content involving minors) may lead to immediate permanent ban.

10. Quick Posting Checklist

Right section & prefix
Clear title & on-topic
Sources/screenshots/logs added
Spoilers/large media tagged
No private data exposed
