Legacy.mp Registration Terms & Rules

Scope: legacy.mp, forum.legacy.mp, UCP/ACP, launcher, in‑game/Discord integrations.

1. Eligibility & Accounts

• 18+ only. One person = one account (alts need staff approval).

• Discord login only. We do not store Legacy.mp passwords. Enable Discord 2FA.

• Keep your details accurate. You are responsible for activity on your linked account.

• No impersonation. Avatars/usernames must be appropriate (no hate/shock imagery).

2. Community Conduct (Short)

• Be respectful; attack ideas, not people. No harassment, slurs, threats, or doxxing.

• No cheating, exploits, or distribution of cheat tools. Report vulnerabilities privately.

• No RMT (real‑money trading), and no account/character sales.

• English is the default language unless a section allows otherwise.

3. Content & IP

• You own your content. By posting, you grant Legacy.mp a non‑exclusive license to host and display it on our services. This ends when content is removed (backups may persist briefly).

• Share only what you’re allowed to share and credit creators. Use our takedown routes for copyright/privacy issues.

4. Privacy & Data

• We use Discord OAuth for login and follow our Privacy Policy (GDPR). We may retain relevant data longer when investigating rule violations.

• Cookies: essential for login/security; optional analytics/media only with consent where required.

5. Marketplace (If Enabled)

• Allowed: in‑game items/services for in‑game currency in the right section.

• Prohibited: RMT, chargeback schemes, selling accounts/characters.

• State clear terms; provide proof on completion; report scams. Staff may decline to arbitrate.

6. Moderation & Enforcement

• Staff may act at their discretion to protect the community where rules are silent/ambiguous.

• Actions may include: reminder → edit/remove → warning → temp mute/ban → long ban → permanent ban.

• Severe violations (e.g., hate speech, doxxing, cheats, sexual content involving minors) may lead to immediate permanent ban.

• Cross‑enforcement may apply across forum, Discord, and in‑game services.

7. Termination

• You can close your account via UCP or by contacting *****@*****.tld.

• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten safety/service integrity. Minimal records may be retained as required by law or for moderation/security.

8. Legal

• Community status: Legacy.mp is a volunteer‑run online community, not a commercial business.

• EU/EEA: Governed by the laws of EU; EU law (including GDPR) applies.

• United States (where applicable): We follow DMCA §512 notice‑and‑takedown and rely on 47 U.S.C. §230 protections for user‑generated content.

• Nothing here waives non‑waivable local consumer rights.
